21 Day Cleanse: Follow up

So I have been doing the clean 21day detox, which I have posted about HERE

During these 3 weeks I can say that I have managed to stay on track 95% of the time. I was eating according to the plan and I only snacked on things outside of the plan on 3 occasions:

  • I had a wedding invitation during which I managed to stay alcohol free, but I snacked on a couple of nibbles just to feel like I was part of the party since I was only drinking water with lemon wedges
  • I had a friends birthday and I had 3 teaspoons of her homemade birthday cake
  • I had a business meeting and I had 1 cup of coffee, no sugar with a dash of milk

Those were all my ‘slips ups’, so I think I did quite all right.
It was not as hard as I originally thought it would be, and I love the solid meals, all were super delicious and filling. However at the very end I was geting fed up of the shakes. It could have been my fault as I kept making the same 2 or 3 shakes during the past 3 weeks as I did not enjoy the soups very much!

I felt great during this cleanse, light and fresh without any of the usual allergy symptoms.

I will now try and start introducing other foods to my diet, but will try to keep these food ingredients and plan at least 2 times a week.
