Healthy Living Haul

Recently I have been getting more into healthy living and not just by eating healthy meals but I have also been trying to avoid chemicals from all aspects, including meals, beauty products etc. So I have splurged a bit on a couple of items from amazon, in order to get some basic stuff as well as some books to guide me on how to make things easier and learn new information. On to the purchase, these are the items I purchased so far.

Deliciously Ella Cook Book – which I am in love with, full of great information and delicious recipes

Jojoba Oil – which I am trying to incorporate with some DIY  beauty recipes ( I will create a post about such recipes if they are successful)

Beeswax – to incorporate in some DIY beauty recipes

Organic & Unrefined Shea Butter – same as above

Witch hazel distilled – same as above

Aloe Vera Gel – which is great for burns and calming skin after waxing or tweezing

Hemsley + Hemsley Spiralizer – which I am loving in creating spaghetti like veggies

Hemsley + Hemsley – The Art of Eating Well – amazing and very resourceful book

Clean (The revolutionary program to restore the body’s ability to heal itself) – I am currently quarter way into this book and it is so informative! I think this is a very good investment if you want to lead a healthy lifestyle (will be doing a post on this book once I am more progressed in it)

Biona Organic Raw Virgin Coconut oil 800g – since I use coconut oil all the time, the size of this tub is super ideal

Arrow root powder – originally bought this to incorporate into DIY beauty recipes

Krups Twin Blade Coffee Mill – amazing mill which I use for grinding seeds and herbs (flaxseed, cacao nibs etc)

Cotswold Nettle Tea – which has amazing benefits including reducing inflammation and boosting immune system. Would not recommended as a night time tea though, as every time I had it before bedtime I had interrupted sleep and bad dream (not sure if it is related but better play it safe) 🙂

Have you ever tried any of these products? What are your thoughts and recommendations?
