If you are trying to conceive, following a healthy diet is one of the most important things you can do to boost your fertility. Make sure you eat lots of fruits and vegetable and minimise processed and sugary foods. This will ensure that your whole body, including your reproductive system is supplied with all the essential vitamins and minerals it needs.

Three month plan

A three month period of healthy living will improve the vitality of your reproductive system and stand you in a good stead to conceive. It takes three months to create a new batch of sperm from scratch, and up to three months for the body to rid itself of toxins that may affect your ability to conceive.

Nutrition is of course not the only factor that affects fertility. If you are trying for a baby, stop smoking, cut down on the amount of alcohol you drink, take regular exercise and try to reduce the level of stress in your life.


A healthy diet and relaxed lifestyle will improve your general health, thus making it easier for you to conceive.
