The importance of healthy eating
We always hear that eating healthy is important, and this is not only important to keep fit or to maintain your weight. It also effects the way you feel and the amount of energy you have, and here is why!
A diet rich in essential nutrients will keep you at peak health.
The body relies on vitamins, minerals and other nutrients found in food to perform all daily tasks and functions such as: growth and repair, energy and immunity, producing hormones, keeping a healthy heart and good circulation, healthy nervous system and efficient brain function
A lot of supplements are available nowadays, and although they might be good as an add on to a healthy diet, they won’t cancel out the bad effects of processed or junk food.
Whole foods (foods in their most natural state) have a broad spectrum of vitamins and minerals which are good for the body, where as most processed food contain harmful substances.
